Busy start of the summer for SBD Racing

After the race weekend of July 3–5, 2026 in Mariembourg, it was once again time to coach new talent and prepare them for a great start in the karting world.

New up-and-coming talent within the SBD team, Lotte Swerts, was coached during an intensive training week at the Genk circuit, both on-track and off-track, by our coaches Dante and Brent. Erik was on hand to provide technical support. Lotte made significant progress and is a great addition to the team.

On Saturday, July 18, 2026, alongside Lotte's coaching, a track day was also on the schedule for 2 great guys who enjoy the speed of our Rotax Max Senior karts on the Genk karting circuit. As always, they could count on the excellent support of our technicians/coaches.

Finally, Sunday, July 19, 2026 had a surprise track day planned for 3 members of the SBD family — Dave, Kobe, and Thybo. They got to celebrate their birthdays in an SBD Rotax Max Senior kart. They could rely on the technical support and coaching skills of Erik, Brent, and Dante. It was a great, fun way to wrap up a busy week.
